Island Air - Float Plane Vacations

Comox Valley

The Outdoor Adventure Capital of Canada for the fifth year in a row.

Condé Nast Traveler magazine readers ranked Vancouver Island as Top North American Island, due to the unsurpassed outdoor experiences and environmental diversity it offers.

The special mix of favorable exchange rates, stable political climate, world-class amenities and easy access from anywhere in North America provide a very special vacation experience.

Island Air operates out of Courtenay, in the Comox Valley, on Vancouver Island, BC. Vancouver Island lies just a short flight or a 1 1/2-hr ferry ride across the Georgia Strait from the city of Vancouver, off the West Coast of BC.

Due to our mild climate [warm summers and mild winters], the Comox Valley is one of the most popular recreational destinations in the world appealing to those interested in wilderness, wildlife, spectacular scenery and outdoor pursuits.
